Autism Partnership proudly announces new research:Autism Partnership's Research Department is proud to announce the publication of their latest study, which provides empirical evidence that Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a highly effective treatment option for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The data shows that 45 out of 64 children in the preliminary analysis made such remarkable progress that they obtained IQs within the normal range and successfully completed grade level work in regular education settings. We are eager to share the facts so parents and professionals can make informed choices about treatment options for their children. Click here to read more. |

The IDEA ProgramAutism Partnership and CISCA have come together to develop a new approach to the education of children with autism in a school setting. Titled "Innovative Developments in the Education of children with Autism" (I.D.E.A.), this program was launched in 2010 at Moomba Park Primary School in Fawkner, Victoria. It provides quality, individualised, support for children with ASD enrolled at the mainstream government school, using the evidence-based practices of behavioural intervention. The IDEA program is managed by the principal of the school and is a whole-school approach, which provides training, consultation and support to all school staff, parents and students. |
